Enjoy the mountain from the slopes
In Vålådalen there is a simple alpine area with a lift. The main slope is 750 meters long and undulates nicely with a drop of 150 meters.
Next to the large groomed slope is an ungroomed slope for loose snow skiing. The lift can be used to advantage if you want to go up Ottfjället with touring skis, or to get to our ski tracks; Sapporo and Lill Sapporo.
There is a shelter with a barbecue area at the top of the drag lift, the view from here is fantastic. With Ottfjället at your back, you have Smällhögarna and Lunndörrsfjällen in front of your eyes. It’s easy to sit here and soak up the Swedish mountain world, preferably with a good coffee and some sausages to grill.
Practical
The lift is open during school holidays v.10-12 and v.13-16. During Easter the lift is open: March 28 – April 7.
