Experience Vålådalen in winter

The ski season runs from October to May. We are always early to open for cross-country skiing – Already in mid-October we open our premiere trails. In Vålådalen we ski between October and May, every year!

The feeling of once again lacing up your boots and hitting the trails is hard to beat, don’t miss the opening weekend in October 2026. Book accommodation now and be the first on snow!

Trail fees and lift passes

With the Vålådal card you have a card that is valid for all our ski trails and the lift. Simple and convenient.

Ski school and guided tours

Improve your skiing with the help of our cross-country instructors or book a guided tour for an unforgettable experience.

Touring skiing

Vålådalen has a long tradition as a base for ski touring. There are several day hikes in the area, both below and above the bare mountain line.

Biathlon

The biathlon arena has 16 lanes and lighting. The dimensions comply with national and international standards and mattresses are available for all courts.

Sportboden

In Sportboden with you will find what is needed for a successful mountain adventure for both summer and winter. Here you can rent everything from skis to snowshoes and sledges.

Downhill skiing

In Vålådalen there is a simple alpine area with a lift. The main slope is 750 meters long and undulates nicely with a drop of 150 meters.

Ski camp

Do you have a desire to do the night vase on skate skis, learn a new fun form of exercise or to skate out on the cold mountain in the spring sun?

Winter walks and snowshoeing

If you do not want to ski but instead take a walk, we recommend that you rent a pair of snowshoes in Sporten, which is directly adjacent to our reception.

Gym and sports hall

We have a sports hall with a handball court of international dimensions. There are also courts for basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, floorball and a climbing wall.
