Vålådalen Mountain Station has long been a natural starting point for hiking, skiing and mountain adventures. Now we are developing the area further to offer even more activities for both large and small visitors.
During the summer, the range of activities is expanded with several fun and accessible outdoor activities. Here you will be able to challenge family and friends in disc golf, boules, cornhole and kubb – perfect activities for a free afternoon after the day’s mountain hike or as a nice feature during the holidays.
For those who want to discover the surroundings on two wheels, Mountain Bikes are available to rent directly at the mountain station. Choose between scenic bike trails that take you through forests on mountain trails. For children and adults who are keen on cycling, there is also our pump track, where technique, balance and speed are at the center.
Water lovers can embark on their own adventures with our canoes. Paddling in the tranquil mountain landscape gives a whole new perspective on nature and is a great way to get close to both wildlife and wilderness.
Right next to the mountain station is also Naturrum Vålådalen – a popular destination for anyone who wants to learn more about the area’s unique nature. Here you can discover the mountain’s plants, animals and ecosystems through inspiring exhibitions and activities suitable for both children and adults.
