Cancellation policy for private guests
Valid from 2021-12-19 and until further notice.

1. cancellations
In the event of cancellation at least 30 days before arrival, Vålådalen will refund the amount paid less a handling fee of SEK 300.
In order for the guest to be reimbursed in the event of a cancellation made with less than 30 days before arrival, cancellation insurance is required.
The cancellation insurance costs SEK 300 per object and must be ordered in connection with the booking and paid in connection with the payment of the booking in general.
2. Cancellation with cancellation protection
Cancellation cover reimburses all or part of the amount paid, as set out below, if the guest cancels their booking due to acute illness, accident or death of the guest, the guest’s close relative or fellow traveler. A doctor’s certificate is required.
In case of cancellation
- 30-21 days before arrival with a valid reason for cancellation (certificate), 90% of the amount paid will be refunded less the cancellation insurance and a handling fee of 300 SEK.
- 20-8 days before arrival with a valid reason for cancellation (certificate), 75% of the amount paid will be refunded less the cancellation insurance and a handling fee of 300 SEK.
- 7 days or more before arrival, Vålådalens Fjällstation AB retains 100% of the amount paid.

3rd package
When booking such combinations of arrangements that Vålådalen sells for a price stated in advance (packages), the guest cannot cancel individual products of the arrangement. For the cancellation of individual or all persons in the package, the same rules apply as above.
4. Vålådalen snow guarantee
Vålådalen’s snow guarantee means that we offer at least 1.3 km of groomed cross-country trails, from mid-November to mid-April. If we trigger the Vålådalens Fjällstation AB snow guarantee, this means that the guest has the opportunity to cancel the stay for a full refund of the amount paid, less a handling fee of SEK 300.
For a refund, the guest must cancel their stay in writing no later than 11.00 on the day after arrival. It is of course also possible to rebook to another period.
