and snowshoeing
If you do not want to ski but instead take a walk, we recommend that you rent a pair of snowshoes in Sporten, which is directly adjacent to our reception.
Enjoy the mountains at your own pace
There are several options to experience excitement and mystery. We can also organize a guided tour if you wish.
zero gravity
Length: 6 km round trip
Follow the plowed road from the entrance to the mountain station. There are also kicks available to borrow. If the conditions are right, take your skates for a spin on the pond.
Securities lending
Length: 1.5 km round trip
Start from the trail center at the entrance to the mountain station. From Vålån you can continue the walk on snowmobile trails.
Ottfjället – the windbreak at Storbäcken
Length: 3 km round trip or continue towards Kläppen (7 km round trip)
Follow the road, or the snowmobile track parallel to the road, towards Undersåker. At Gunders mosse turn left onto Ottfjällsvägen. The road is crossed by Elljusspåret, where only skiers are allowed. Continue up the mountain, do not walk on the groomed trail and of course keep your dog on a leash. You’re soon up above the tree line and rewarded with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.
